Question: How does the Frame Tamer System work?

Answer: UHMW is laminated to aluminum to give structural stability to the UHMW and wearability to the Aluminum.


Question: How does the Frame Tamer System attach to the existing conveyor frame?

Answer: It attaches via tech screws and takes about one minute to install a 2-foot section.


Question: What length does the Frame Tamer System come in?

Answer: The FRame Tamer Syatem comes two-foot lengths. It was designed to fit older systems that have two-foot zones. This way we can work around the censor roller.


Question: What if I just add Stell to my frame?

Answer: Steel by itself does not have any wearability. It, Like your frame, will elongate. Also, when welding the steel strip to your frame, as is done in most applications, the conveyor is weakened and you you have much bigger problem within a few months.


Question: What if I just use UHMW?

Answer: UHMW alone has no structural stability. The edge of the hex shaft on the roller will cut into the UHMW causing elongation.


Question: Does The Frame Tamer System match existing frames?

Answer: Yes, our standrd sizes are two inch and three inch on centers. With open hex for drop in rollers that will match most standrd conveyor frames.


Question: What effect does The Frame Tamer System have on the sound level or chatter of a conveyor system?

Answer: The UHMW absorbs the vibrations, which in turn significantly reduces sound levels. The Frame Tamer System can be used to help comply with OSHA noise level regulations. Can reduce sound levels more than 50% in most cases.


Question: How long will The Frame Tamer System extend the life of the conveyor?

Answer: At this time, we are estimating 3 to 5 years, conservatively. Some of our sites have had it installed almost two years and are not seeing any wear at all.


Question: Why wouldn't I install Tapered Hex Rollers instead of The Frame Tamer System?

Answer: The Tapered Hex does not repair the frame, it only fills the hex opening. In time the vibration from the system will cause it to elongate too, resulting in a larger opening than before.


Question: What if my conveyor system is showing little to no wear, but does chatter?

Answer: If you have chatter, you will have wear. It is always best to keep this problem from happening verses having to deal with the larger problems later.


Question: How much can we save using The Frame Tamer System?

Answer: Based on 6 miles of roller conveyor at $200.00 per foot. Your company would see savings of over 5.5 Million Dollars per location.
